01-06-2025Barnbum asked if I could quilt her super cute baby quilt for her new grandbaby due in May. She posted the flimsy here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...k-t213392.html
This is just the cutest quilt ever! It didn't need too much quilting at all. So I did SITD around the ducks and the squares on point then did cattails and reeds in the triangles surrounding the ducks. Leaf and vine in the inner border and a simple spiral done with a template in the outer border to mimic the spiral the bugs make. I thoroughly enjoyed quilting this and being a part of this special time in Karla's life.
I used Glide thread in white and Isacord in a bright yellow. 80/20 batting.
