Great blocks! Sashing would definitely make each individual basket stand out. I can't wait to see this finished.

I agree about sashing, but I'm not sure I'd put white. I think I might pick a color from the baskets. Which, by the way, are lovely.

I think it would look great either way, so I'm not much help. It's going to be a beautiful quilt though.

Sashing is a great idea, but I'd do them in pale colors that go with your other fabrics. Or just use some of the lighter ones, scrappy style. Add white cornerstones-? :)It will be great what ever you decide! Nice work so far~

I agree! I would definitely set them on point with sashings.

I agree, this would be lovely set on point. I would use a soft pastel for the sashing and white cornerstones.....JMHO!

Why not use some of the scraps from the baskets and do a scrappy border? Not too wide so as not to take away from the basket design. I think it needs more color...I wouldn't use a white sashing...your baskets are too cute!!

I would put them on point and use sashing and cornerstones.
I love the colors you used. Remember to post again when you get it done, I'm eager to see it!

I agree, on point, pastel sashing, white cornerstones. Super quilt. I love baskets.
