I was wanting to know if you think it would be okay to have the cream for the set in triangles and then the flower material for the border or any suggestions.

Very different take on baskets. I really like it. I'm not very good in inhancing a wonderful block. Someone will have just the right suggestion for you

beautiful blocks!
I would chose a small floral print with a cream background. If you have enough of the cream, it could be used in an inner border and then the border fabric you are planning on.
