    For background how about a pastel that had different shades running through, the kind you barely see the color.

    Yes, I too want to see pictures of this,, I do like batiks on black but I agree that some of them would be lost,, just have to audition your bg fabric.. It is very neat

    The shapes are different I have never seen anything like them. I am weighting to see it when finished.

    I've never seen those shapes for applique but I like them. Can't wait to see it when your done. Great fabrics.
