I think I agree with Shadow....the 4"black border would be great, and would frame it in such a way that your eye will be drawn to the beautiful pattern. You did a lovely job. I know that must have been a lot of work. Good for you, Girl!

lovely work - I would put a one and a half inch(cut) black border on, then take one of the colours from near the centre (the two tone aqua colour) and then four and a half inch border of that.... (cut), and bind it with black. The centre will pop with the black ......

Chele, I've been thinking about your Batik Bargello all weekend. I wasn't ready to do another Bargello, but now I think I'll try to make this one. It combines the best of two worlds: Batiks & Bargellos! I do have one question. Did you pre wash the batiks? Thanks for the inspiration. :)

MaxineB, It's probably a good idea to prewash batiks. I can't wait to see your Batik Bargello. I thought it was kind of fun to make. Finally got my black borders on this weekend.
