This is a Judy Niemeyer pattern.

    It is a stunning piece.

I struggled a bit with design ideas...and decided to loosely outline the blades. I am not sure that you can soften them much nor do I want to...I love them. I topped it off with a semi-symmetrical feather..which is really hard for me.

    I love pieced backs.

I quilted this freehand on my Innova. This quilt has warm and natural batting.

    Thanks for looking.

Very nice! I just finished the placemats & tablerunners - same pattern & I was having a hard time deciding how to quilt them.

The quilting FITS the quilt very well...nice choice.

I am currently working on a Judy Niemeyer quilt pattern
"Feathered Goose", using 100% batiks, and no doubt will be sending it your way for some over-the-top quilting

Absolutely stunning! I have looked at this pattern many times thinking I want to make it. Now that I have seen this one, it has definitely moved up on my to do list. I love batiks and Northcotts Stonehenge line and maybe I will have to pick one of those and get to it! Your quilting is awesome as usual! Great job.
