My GD is named Grace Elizabeth also, I made her a quilt when she was a baby, backed it with the Gracie fabric, she in 10 now and still loves it. I think she thinks the fabric co named it just for her. lol

That is beautiful. I would hang it on the wall next to her crib so she can enjoy the colors until she is older.

It's thought that babies go for the bolder colors and your gorgeous quilt certainly fits that recommendation. But you should also realize that this is a unique quilt and one that is sure to get lots of compliments - so needless to say when your new precious granddaughter arrives she will certainly get lots of attention and so will your lovely quilt. Beautiful quilt.

Very pretty quilt. If your Gracie is like my Gracie she will love it as she gets older. I now call Gracie GG as she is always galloping around (galloping Gracie) she keeps telling me her name is Gracie.

I think it is perfect for an infant and will grow with her. She will be so attracted to the bright colors. Congratulations, Grandma. Beautiful work!

my sons favorite color when he was a baby was bright red lol it was embarrassing at times to have a lady in a red blouse talk to him cause he would try to grab any parts of them he could reach ))) i had to keep an iron grip on him or be constantly apoligising when women would get too close ))))).
come to think of it hes 25 now and still loves red )))))
