    Pattern: Jelly Donut
(There are some "issues" with the pattern that I detailed here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-140807-1.htm)

Fabrics: Pink Lemonade Bali Pop by Hoffman - both borders are yardage from that line

Backing: from one of the fine folk on this board. He had it for a great price and I took a gamble that the colors were right. They are PERFECT!

Quilting: only way I know - cross hatch with varigated
    purple/blue thread

I bought this one to make for me, me, me, but ... it's not "THE ONE" yet. So it's going to a dear lady who has been my aide at school for the last 10 years. I'm an elementary school music teacher so that meant a lot of decorating, crowd control, taking over so I could work with small groups, etc. - definately above and beyond ... She was transferred to another campus in our recent staff reduction.

    I remember this one!
I'm glad it all worked out - beautiful colors.
    And the back coordinates perfectly.

I'm sure she well deserves this beautiful quilt....I'm a teacher, too, and know how much an aide can save the day. You did a great job with those beautiful colors. Batiks never fail, right?
