Your quilt and batik selection is wonderful! Is there a name for this pattern? I have a huge batik fat quarter collection and some black-ish batik yardage that would work wonderfully to create this for myself. I'd love to copy your idea, if you don't mind!

I am in the process of making this very quilt....Like you, I love using black with the batiks.....just makes them pop! Your lovely finish inspires me to keep going. I kind of slowed down over the holidays.... I actually need some more black to finish up......

I think I have found a quilt for all of those Batiks of mine that are around my sewing room. The pattern looks fairly simple. Did you use a certain pattern? Also, how wide are the black strips between adn around the batiks?

Thanks, Beverly

WOW, it's gorgeous - I think the black is the perfect counterpoint to all those gorgeous batik fabrics.
