Pattern by Village Fabrics UK. It is called "Batik Squares" and is similar to another pattern called floating blocks. I used 5" squares plus strips.
This is another pattern by Village Fabrics. It is called "Our Scrap Quilt" and is 60" square. Strips are 1 3/4" wide and block size is 6 1/4".
This is one of my first quilts. 5" squares by machine and hand quilted in each square. Borders are hand quilted in the grape design.

Love your quilts. And would love to see a larger picture of your avatar. It looks like Cathedral Window. That is one I've wanted to do, but other projects keep getting pushed up the 'to do' list. Can't decide if I should do it the old fashioned way - by hand, or the modern way - by machine.

I love them but the first one is my favorite. I've seen the quilt and didn't know what it was called. Thanks for pics.

I love those quilts, the colours are gorgeous, I'd be hard pressed to choose a favourite.
