    Batik Wedding Quilt

    Here is my latest finished project. I made it for my friend who is getting married this coming Saturday. She loves Batiks.
    I gave it to her today and she was thrilled as was her fiancé.
    Hope you like it too.

    That would be so beautiful on a bed - I can see decorating the entire room around it.
    A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

    Hi BrendaK, The pattern is called Bricks I think. It is simply 4.5" x 6.5" rectangles edged with black strips 1.5" on each long side of the rectangles. Then assemble them alternately at 90* to each other (long ways and cross ways) to form the rows.

    It may be a simple pattern but it's really quite lovely with your colors! I love how you set the batiks off with the black. Congratulations!
