    Love your bag. I too have the pattern and a great collection of batiks to make it. Can't wait now that I've seen yours completed.

    I had ALOT of them too, I think if I ever make it again I will change the width of each color, I was cutting them 1.5 inches but once I was getting into the darker shades I realized I wasnt going to have enough colors so I increased them to be cut 2 inches. The last one the "corner " was my last shade so I used it to fill in the entire section. Also remember to make sure you are sewing the same side of the braid first each time, luckily I caught myself before I created a disaster !!
