Surprised my friend with a quilt for her beach house. A couch quilt 65" x 85" and the colors worked very well with her decor's beachy colors. I got lots of practice with the flying geese and appliqueing the stars around the quilt. I used the dark teal for the binding.

I love it! Just love it! Looking at it I can 'smell' the coast of the Golf of Mexico to the north! I love the sandy fabric that sets up the turquoise fabrics.
