    Bear Bear Wall Hanging

These are pics of the wall hanging I made for CJ my "special" grandson. It is not the same as the original Beary pattern, I made it smaller and much different. It was taken home on Saturday afternoon and the boys hung it, by themselves, on the pole over the window in CJ's room. Shows the creativity of kids when they don't want to wait for daddy to hang something...

So cute. Are the bears furry? I think I remember seeing a pattern with furry bears a few years back, I wanted to make one too, but so far I haven't. Thanks for making me think of this adorable bear quilt.

Don't know which is cuter. The boys or the wall hanging/valence! Thanks for sharing.

Yes, they are furry bears. I asked a long time ago if anyone had some leftovers of fake fur and received enough to make the bears. I made the outfits and used buttons to accessorize the darlings. I confess it isn't the most advanced applique job (newbie to applique) however, the boys don't know the difference and they are thrilled. The youngest is the "special boy" he has PDD-NOS and struggles with some areas of life. He has his own bear he has carried since birth named "Bear" so this was a joy for him. Big brother hung it on the curtain pole.
