Do it! It was so relaxing. I got all of my tubes for a tube quilt sewn. I also finished a book on my kindle. I really enjoyed my day.
I thought about you ALL DAY today!!! I really did!! so glad you had a great day. My day will come in the fall, when it (hopefully) cools down a bit... maybe by then I'll have learned how to get pics on here (sheepish grin)... (My techno-daughter is coming soon and we've planned some one-to-one techno-tutoring... )

What a nice backyard and a great place to quilt. The quilt on your swing looks so pretty. Do you take it inside when you're not out there? I have a swing on our covered patio, but it would still get wet when it rains. But, after seeing your quilt on your swing I might put one out there when company comes just to dress up the patio.

It is an old swing. My granddaughters say it's scratchy. So, I made that so they could put it on the seat when they come over. I bring it in with the cushions in the evening. It is a panel and was a two hour project start to finish.

Looks like a wonderful place to quilt and enjoy the outdoors. I hope you had time to listen to the birds and soak up some sun - just enough to feel the warmth. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, I'm so jealous too. Here in Central Texas we are having a severe drought and highs way over 100 every day now for 14 days. I think the highest so far was 108 and yes that is hot.

Definitely happy quilting. Looks like today you'll have the best of both worlds. Have enough fun for all of us.
