    Default Bed of Flowers

I made this quilt for our DGD Marylee. It was given to her when she received her bachelor's degree in May. I had a bunch of leftover floral pieces, mostly 1990's vintage. I sliced them up along with solids from my stash. It was a fun and easy quilt to make. I do all of my quilting on my Janome 6500. I've been wanting to try an all-over free motion quilting design, rather than quilting it block by block as I usually do. I did it in vertical columns with variegated thread, and I was pretty happy with the result.
I used up almost all of those floral prints too!
