I can't believe you got all that fabric from the tubs into the shelving unit and still have room for more. There is a change for me then as I have 2 wall units with books in them right now. If I move the cookbook into the kitchen that would free up 1 whole unit and get some of the fabric bins out of the rest of my house. I have 12 plus of the large flip lid bins and I don't have to worry about flooding as my sewing room is not in the basement.

So nice and neat. I fear my fabric stash has grown too large to be able to wrap the pieces around a board and store them that way, not to mention the time it would take to do it and the cost. I think it is a good thing for new quilters or those with a small stash so it doesn't get ahead of you.

Good job! I like to have to have my fabric out on view, too, for inspiration. I get the cardboard bolts from the LQS and Jo Ann (they are happy to give them away) and cut them in half to fit on the shelves.

I have a shelf 2 x's that size but have all my fabs folded and laying in flat and I use a ruler to get out what I want. Just slip above the one you want out.
I need to put more fab on shelfs and trims and ribbond etc in the totes so I can see what all I have....
