I love to see traditional patterns made with modern fabrics. You have such an eye for color, I can't wait to see. Keep us posted! :)

I love those fabrics! The quilt should be stunning! Can't wait to see it! Niether Rome nor a Cathedral Window quilt are built in a day...hopefully the quilt won't take longer than Rome! ;)
Kind Regards,
MaryAnna

I'm going to machine sew it. I did a CW pillow a few months back to learn the technique and I really enjoyed it, it's a lot of fun to do.

I got all of these at a LQS here, they have fat quarters of all their batik bolts, so I just went through them picking out what I wanted. I think there was only one of those colors that I had to have them cut for me because there wasn't already a FQ of it.

Eddie, the fabric is perfect for what your doing, I can just picture all this beautiful fabric stained glass. Can't wait to see this one. I used to make stained glass windows and teach it.

What?? No blocks completed yet? You are such a total slacker!!  ;)

Great choices in fabrics Eddie. Can't wait to see how you progress with this. But beware, once you use batiks there is no turning back. They are like a drug.
