Yes, it is supposed to be washable Jenny. It is colorfast because of the heat set. I haven't tried a test yet tho.....

Your quilt blocks are absolutely beautiful... the birds look life like and the embroidery work is wonderful..

This is just beautiful. I am interested to see how you put it in a quilt.....with other fabrics....Just the birds or whatever. I too love adding the embroidery to something you have created. Great job and can not wait to see the rest. Your colors are just wonderful how you blended them. Are these just regular crayons? Thanks for sharing.

Thank you and yes they are Crayola Crayons. Name brand for this is the best since some of the off brands are waxy and do not color as well. I was surprised at how well they blend when you heat set them. If you google Crayola Quilts, there is great instruction on how to do this procedure.

Love love love it! Your birds look so real, you have knack for using the colors. I need to look this up. Good luck with the rest of them. Please share your finished product in a separate thread so I don't miss it.
