Very nice. I have some of those old window frames that I was going to do some coloring blocks in and you just gave me a some really good ideas. Thanks for the inspiration. Now to go dig those out. Yours are truly beautyyyyful.

They are simply beautiful. Your embordiery added a lot to the blocks. May I just suggest that some shiny thread play on the hummingbirds throat would be really nice. The ones I see have a very iridescent look in the throat ( red ) area.

That is going to be one gorgeous quilt when you are finished. What size will it be? Please continue to post progress pictures. I think the embroidery adds to the multi-dementional look. Thanks for sharing & welcome to the board.

Great idea with the shinny threads. It may be hard to tell in the picture, but on the Humming bird I used Metallic crayons. I'll have to look for the threads tho.
