    This is a picture of the quilt that I am making for my grandson who is partially Oriental. I paper pieced it.

    Thanks rootyr. I have had fun making this. But, I have taken too long but when you are working, you can't work as fast. I am in the process of taking the paper backing off right now.

    I am taking the paper off the back. then I have to get bfabric for the back and then to the quilt shop to be quilted.

    Oooooh, that's really lovely!!!! Did it go together quickly? What backing and binding will you use? Would love to see it once it's all finished.

    Yes when I really got to working on it, it went together fairly fast. I did it paper piecing and I am removing the paper now. It is all straight sewing.

    Thank You. I love color in my quilts---you should have seen the chili pepper quilt that I made for my daughter. I think there were 30 different chili pepper prints.

    I have to go to the quilt shope to look at backing fabric and decide on binding. There are so many colors that I could use for the binding---I am thinking red or gold.

    Love the pattern, and I have so many Asian inspired fabrics that need to be cut into large pieces to be admired........really wonderful!

    This is a graduation present for my grandson. It will be awhile before he gets it . I st arted on it early so that if I had any problems I wouldn't really mess up. I will send a picture.
