This is what the ruler and ruler foot look like under my machine. I find it easier to do a circle inside the ring rather then trying to hold a circle shape and go around the outside.

Wow, the quilting looks great.

Nice set of rulers. I don't have a Bernina machine. Although I am happy with my FMQ.

Nicely done Tartan... looks like you're enjoying your rulers and doing a fantastic job too.

I purchased the #72 foot shortly after purchasing my first Bernina but I had rulers from my Janome that I'm hoping will work just as well. Since summer is a crazy time for me, I have not had any free time to play on my new Bernina.

Thanks so much for sharing Tartan, I am considering a Bernina and want it for the quilting!

I've been quite interested in rulers. I'm normally a hand quilter but have far too many tops that need to be completed. I think rulers will be the way to go for me. You've done a great job with this.

Nice work! I'm just starting with ruler work and love to see how others are using them.

Your quilting looks really nice. I have some rulers also & I love them. I don't have the Bernina rulers. I mostly have Quilters rule & some I bought from Amy Johnson. I think from Westalee. They are a lot of fun to use. Easy with pretty good results right away. I'm not very good yet but as with anything it takes practice. I'm better now than I was 6 or 8 months ago. lol

Thanks Tartan, the information & pictures are helpful. My LQS is offering a class on using the #72 foot w/ rulers. I was wondering just what this was all about. I might just have to get one. .

A perfect circle, usually very difficult to do, it looks great.
