You know when Bev contacted me and said she would like me to quilt her loan star...I had no idea this was the lonestar she was referring too...isn't this GORGEOUS!??

It is so stunning and I get a bit nervous quilting for other people sometimes..this was truly one of them!

I hope I did it justice!
She asked for feathers...and I like continous curves or feathers in the star points... so I quilted Continuous curves....for everything else I just filled in areas..the feather plumes that surround the NYB ..I wanted all of them to go the same direction so it would create movement in a circle around the lonestar.

I LOVE the pieced back as well..just beautiful!

    Thanks Bev!

I quilted this freehand on my 26 INNOVA. I used Hobbs Poly down batting.
    Thanks for looking!

Beautiful quilt and quilting. I can't imagine you getting nervous quilting. I have never seen anything you quilted that wasn't gorgeous. I know Bev will love it, such a spectacular quilt.

I'm not a big fan of the lonestar pattern and I don't know why. However this is just a beaut! I can understand why you might be a bit nervous quilting this Charisma, but you did a wonderful job on an already gorgeous quilt.
