I am using 10w cream crochet thread. Not sure that is what a person should use, but i had no idea and am just winging it.

Thank you everyone so much for all your compliments. It really is helping to boost my confidence since this is my first attempt at hand quilting.

gosh I am so glad I am not the only one to do "primative quilting" my favorite to pq is DMC pearl cotton #5 I wish I could master regular quilting, but this works well for me.

I'm a hand quilter and I love that look, haven't done a big stitch yet but have plans to. I have lots of plan though. Yours is really nice, you did a great job.

Do you find that at walmart? where? in the floss section or crochet thread section?
