A few days ago I finished a scrap quilt and posted a pic. Not many people see my quilts so I enjoy posting the pictures. Sat morning I had an e-mail from a friend who shall be anonymous (I am afraid she might be embarrassed). She told me I had a block turned the wrong way and she didn't know whether to tell me or not because she didn't want to hurt my feelings. Well, she most certainly did not. I get so ticked off at myself when I complete a quilt and THEN see a real goof. It seems that is all I can see when I look at the quilt, so I really, really, appreciated her letting me know. Below is another picture of the quilt with the block corrected. You may not have noticed the error but I am glad I got it fixed.

It's is beautiful!! I can painsteakingly label every piece and block and STILL sew something wrong and not see it until I look at the pic I take.

Whoops! Just goes to show how easy it is to miss "mistakes"!

We all do it, get it wrong! At least your friend was nice enough to tell you and it sounds as if she was gentle.

I always love the fact that the Navaho Indians always leave a knot in their rugs to show that they were not perfect and not vying with the Gods.

It would be a good idea to post a picture of a top before it is quilted and ask if anyone sees Waldo. lol I sent a PM to a gal on this board because I thought she had accidentally turned a block the wrong way. I think I offended her. Me, I would want to know. I did see my upside down white on white in my avatar and chose not to change it. :)

You have a great friend. I hope someone would tell me if I had a mistake. And your quilt is lovely. You will not be under arrest by the quilt police for a little mistake. Great QB Friends here.

Who ever you are you are a great friend. You are welcome to be my friend too!:) :)

Honesty is best. That would be like not telling somebody they have something on their face.

Very pretty now, don't remember seeing one out of place. So far I notice all possible goof ups before I sandwich them, I sure hope that stays the case.
