Your quilt is absolutely awesome and your descriptions are fascinating, never boring. I enjoyed every one. Thanks for posting and sharing the details. All the QAYG quilts I have seen were assembled with very narrow sashings, was interested how you assembled with the wider sashing, would appreciate if you could explain how you did it. Thanks.

one of the sashings is double (folded) and I chose to make the cotton muslin this sashing rather than the sashing on the back because the muslin is a tad thinner than the quilters cotton

Yes, the wide sashing was a unique QAYG technique. I followed this ladies methods:

This isn't just a quilt, it's a love bomb. There is so much joy and happiness represented in each block. How blessed you are to have such fond memories of life and family, and it truly showcases how much you love and are loved.

Thank you djmat for your kind words. I should tell you it was you, and your leadership in the original 2.5" charm swaps in past years, that got me started in this ongoing collecting, storage, and usage of charms. I am now 98% dedicated to scrap quilting of these amazing squares. I owe you a note of thanks for starting me on this amazing journey. It is you who has inspired me. Thanks again, my quilting board friend..... Jane Q
