I agree .... one tends not to realize how many different colours are in that print at first site! Maybe she should do more baskets?

Anael ... your quilted rope is a perfect border for this quilt. Look at all that perfect stitching!
Curious? what did you use for a backing? plain white? another plain colour? or a print of some sort?

Not you have me curious .... what does the text say??
I can make out Prairie and Grassland ......

Thanks QuiltE ! !

In the meadow - what in the meadow?
Bluebells, buttercups, meadowsweet,
And fairy rings for the children's feet
In the meadow

In the garden - what in the garden?
Jacob's Ladder and Solomon's seal
And lovelies bleeding beside Allheal
In the garden

It's very hard to read, at least for me!

this is the backing. It's really a light blue but the colours in the picture are a bit off. My mom loved paisley so that's why I'm using this fabric.

Anael ... what a perfect backing, doubly so ... what your Mom liked and one with interest to go with the front! What a nice verse in the border.

Anael your quilting is beautiful and I love the verse. The backing fabric is perfect. Have you reached the magic half way mark yet.
