Thanks ! I was talking to my mom while making the next block. I don't like needle turn applique but she said....The block is called Mary's Fan and as I'm Mary I think you should just make it So I did and here it is.

No, I was mistaken. I still have 2 blocks to go. One Dresden Plate which I should have make first! Oh well, what's some more applique

Your quilt is looking good. We don't have to agree on applique types. When I ramrodded a blue Dresden Plate money raising quilt, about 2/3 of the quilters used machine applique. I prefer needleturn, but had to agree that for our purpose, it did not matter at all. Enjoy your own delightful block.
