    I worked on it about 6 months. It's a queen sized (to the floor), so it would fit a king with a bed ruffle. Thanks for this and all the great comments.

    Wow what a lucky son! I have been trying to get my mom to learn to quilt so she could make me one , but of course her answer,is why in the heck would I do that when you can just make your own? She just does not get it ! Ding dang I just want her to make me a quilt ..what an honor..
