    Black and Pink Quilt

I made this quilt for my daughter a few year ago when we fell in love with this fabic by Henry Glass, I used the pattern out of the Sizzlin Sixties book by Anka's Treasures. I changed the pattern just a little. She wanted minkee on the the back, so I pieced the minkee for a queen size quilt, I will never do that again. The quilt is very heavy. I used hobbs 80-20 for batting and free motion quilted it on my longarm. Thanks for looking

When I read Black and Pink, I wondered if I would like it, but...I did! It's so pretty!

Love the pattern and the contrast of pink and black, white background makes it stand out. Your quilting looks good.

Great quilt! But I know what you mean about 'heavy'; that's why my personal rule is 'it's either minkee/fleece or a quilt, but not both in one. Ever.'
Love those colors and fabrics together
