    Black Quilt for my son

More with the paper piecing, this is a pattern from equilts.com
    http://www.equiltpatterns.com/quiltp...5508d26039a2f2

Here is the entire quilt and some close ups. I actually stopped working on DH's quilt and started this one (because I have my ADD moments) so I could practice free-motion quilting on the machine. Tell you what, my little Brother machine has the SMALLEST throat! It was a nightmare!

I love a black background. It really makes the colors pop. This is really nice. I have a Brother too and I don't like quilting on it either. Too bulky, but you did a really nice job.

Thank ya'll. I wish he would treat it better as much work went into it. Live and learn. Who gives a 17 year old boy a quilt and expects it to be pristine?
