    I haven't decided yet about sashing or how to set them. I may go with a staggered kind of of set sashing with some little red squares scattered throughout.

    Great! I love red--I'd add too much. Quilting is a bit like cooking...add a bit of this and a dash of that. Freddy Moran thinks of red as neutral.

    This is going to be very interesting and a great gift. I have trouble going outside my comfort zone, too, so congrats to you for doing it. I think you're going to be proud of this one when it's done.

    I love this. It's very masculine, in a sophisticated way but not an "in your face man cave" like way. Beautiful work.
