Beautiful quilt. Yes, newborn babies eyes are blurry at first so high contrast such as black and white will get them to focus better.

I love this very graphic quilt. It's perfect for a little Princess. Striped bindings are my favorite; especially if they are on the diagonal.

Almost forgot - congrats on the new Grand!
