thanks everyone!! I found the fabric online last night and ordered 2 more yards of it. so I will be able to get a decent number of black and white DKs to sell. I just think there should be more than 3 DKs but you can make pillows or a table runner etc with just 3. we'll see how many I get out of 2 yards.

Aren't you glad you worked your way through the frustration. These are beautiful. Just have tea for three!

I learn so much just reading the comments. I like your idea for a table runner and the placemats. Hummm I have to go shopping for fabric. Thanks again Rhoda for all you do in sharing and inspiring us.

Rhonda,
Is there a reason that you cut each piece out separately instead of stacking the fabric like in a OBW?

when you use the obw you get what you get when you cut that way. with Dresden Kaleidoscope I choose what the design will look like. I fussy cut so I can put elements of the fabric where I want them to show so I get a more dramatic look than just happen stance as in OBWs. Personal preference as to which style I like. I like using the dresden blade template and you can't stack and cut to get an accurate blade cut out.
