Default Black and white log cabin quilt

At first I want to thank every member of this board for all the messages I've received for my works since I've started to post pictures.
I'm very suprised by the dynamism and the enthusiasm of the community. I usually post my work on a french blog and the feedback is not that fast and voluminous, when I receive 3 answer for my post, I'm very happy...
So here's one of my first quilt. It's from a french decoration Magazine, Marie Claire Idées. The center motives of the log cabins are "toile de Jouy" fabric. The "toile de Jouy" was created in the 18th century in a town, Jouy-en-Josas, near Paris. It is easy to identify because of the printed rural scenes motives.
It's a mix of symmetric and asymmetric log cabin blocks.

This is wonderful. I like your wonky log cabins. It has inspired me to give them another try with cute focus fabric in the center. Thanks for inspiring.
