    Not quite the same one, but it's similar enough that it could be used with this idea. Any 12-month BOM sampler pattern could be used. Also, any random blocks from magazines, books, Quilter's Cache, etc.

    Pattern was by Nicole Chambers, "As Time Goes By".

    Yardage of assorted blacks and whites should total about 4.5 yards. Could be very scrappy with many blacks and whites, or the same 4 - 8 fabrics used throughout.

    Some quilters will choose more whites than blacks if they want a light background.

    I love the idea of picking colors from the crayon box and using the colors to make a quilt. It is so interesting to see how different they are. Keep up the good work!

    Sounds like a great color exercise. You ended up with a gorgeous quilt. I'm tending towards on-point settings right now and I really like this one.
