I called it dotting, but Charismah said she calls it freckling... which I like better. :-D What happened it when I put a deep red color thread in the bobbin and a bright yellow in the top, when machine quilting, I could see dots, or freckles, of the red in the yellow. It looked a bit wild...even too wild for me :lol:--so I decided on red for the top. No freckling. :wink:

I love the way you used the bright sashing and your quilting is great!! Because of the richness and variety of colour in your quilt, I would never have thought that it is the same pattern as the one in the magazine!

Ohhh. Using different color thread/bobbin and the bobbin color shows through. I thought that only happened tp me! I gotta get out more.... :roll:
