    Yes, Karla. You need to sew the little blocks into a bigger blocks and then add some more coping strips and then sew things into bigger blocks. Yep! You've got the idea.

    No hurry on the book, Karla. I've got to make my daughters magnolia quilt yet. I just can't decide on a pattern for it. Meanwhile I'll enjoy watching your quilt grow.

    This looks like fun. I've been buying black and white FQs and fabrics for several years and haven't made THE quilt yet. I'm intrigued with what you're doing. Hurry up so we can see the result!

    Well-JoanneS--I just happen to sew a few pieces together last night. It's kind of baffling to know where to begin, but I felt a need to get something together. I can see I'll want lots of strips. :D
