Here are 2 more of my black and white quilts. The log cabin is for my DD. The strip quilt is for a friend of mine on her 50th birthday. I quilted "Deb is fifty" in the large purple square. (sorry they are so large)

Very nice. I like the red squares in the center of the log cabins. Good idea.

I read somewhere that it's tradition to use red for the center of the log cabins because it represents the heart.
