    Wink Blanket for cuddly bear

Now it was my DGD's turn to stay with me for a few days and she worked on the sewing machine too to make a blanket for the little cuddly bear she sleeps with. She had so much fun choosing some charm squares out of my stash and then with the sewing, although at 6 it's a bit hard to keep them focused for too long But she's proud of her work!!!

What a pretty GD you have! Her bear quilt is so cute and it's easy to see she's proud of it and she should be.

Your GD is adorable and so is her quilt. I hope she grows up to be a future quilter like her grandmother. It would be so nice to carry on the tradition. Making her first quilt with you is a memory she will have with her forever. She looks so proud. Keep on quilting!

Adorable girl and wonderful quilt!!! Love the idea of a bear quilt and her choice of fabric is very nice and happy. Hope to see more of her projects in the future. Thanks for sharing, great start to my day.

I am sure snugly bear is going to love his quilt. Isn't it fun to sew with them at this age. She did a great job.

How proud, and rightly so. At 6 years old! Wow, great job.

I think 6 is a great time to learn to sew, but I have to wait 3 years before I can try to get my DGD interested. In the meantime she's just happy with whatever "MiMi" makes her.
