Aren't those the Personality Pups! I love their little expressions .... so individual! They remind me of when I had two little Shih Tzu's ..... Max and Murphy. Murphy was a thoroughbred, but was one of those "throwbacks" that exhibit all the quirky behaviors from inbreeding. He exhibited a lot of "obsessive/compulsive" behavior, like the night I invited him to come up on the sofa beside me, but he had to run around the coffee table nine times before he felt brave enough to make the leap! Miss him so much .... he died a year ago in May .... but little Max keeps life interesting for me. He sleeps in my closet in his basket, but some nights I'll hear a little snorting & snuffling, and when I turn on the light, he's sitting up begging to get on my bed, all alone in the dark. Love that little guy. I'm amazed at the number of quilters who have pets. Anyone want to psychoanalyze us?

Bonnie, sorry you lost Murphy - but you are so right, these little fellas are so big in the personality stakes. My two are devoted to each other, and they each have their own little quirks too. They give us lots of love, and laughs.

Soooooo Cute. I love little ankle biters. As a kid we raised mini doxies and they were always cold. My mom always make blankets (sewing them together to make sleeping bags for them). You wouldn't think my huskies would love blankets. In the summer they lay on their beds on the floor. But it's getting cold enough they are up on the couches on the blankets. They say, "bring on the snow" (their favorite)
