When I started this quilt it was originally intended to be a gift for my youngest daughter. Her favorite color is orange. She seemed disinterested in it when I was putting it together so it did not become her gift. I would not have chosen those colors for myself, but as the quilt came together the colors really grew on me.

Hi Lynn ~ Thanks for posting a picture of your 'baby' braid. I'm still so impressed how the transformed braid looks with the technique from this book. Again thanks for the encouragement to give this a 'go'! :0) I love the way the batiks blend in this type of quilt and your brights are GREAT!

The Blue Baby Braid was a gift to my 4th granddaughter this past Christmas who was 16 mo at that time. It is a well loved quilt
