    You did a good job. I don't think the variations matter at all, but to save yourself frustration, maybe you should get a larger ruler. I use my June Taylor ShapeCut for that sort of thing.

    QM--I have many rulers, big to small, but was shocked to discover only the 4 x 14 one has a 60* line. I've never needed it before. Thanks for the name of the one you have.

    You've come up with a unique variation, and it works very well. Your fabric colors are great, too.
