Great that sure takes alot of time per block. Is this to be a wall hanging quilt? Good job.

I saw the link and looked at the patterns. Embroidery patterns are pricy. I also wondered how many different threads you used/bought for a project like this?

I have never been on a retreat so I have a couple of questions. Did everyone do the same embroidery patterns? Did you have a choice of patterns? Did you choose the patterns before the retreat so that you would bring the correct thread colors? Thanks for the answers.

WOW. It probably would take me four days to make one. Well done. I have the HV Scandinavia 300 and limited to 4x4 and Plus Hoops, but love seeing what can be done on a Diamond.

Geez... How long was that retreat?? This would have taken me months!

Where did you get the patterns and what machine did you use? Are they ART, or what?

Rootyr, what size designs did you get, how many stitches on average are in each design, what stabilizer did you use, and did you embroider the design onto regular quilting cotton? I have a Bernina 830 (Series 8) embroidery machine and am thinking of getting those designs, also. I see alphabets in the picture. Is that also a design? Thanks in advance. I love your designs and will anxiously await to see how you put these together into a quilt.

The designs are from the B group and finish at 7.5. They say to use cotton batting like warm and natural also we used cut away no show mesh. Check out Anita Goodesigns and you will see the pattern called The Homestead. Yes, the alphabet is part of it!
