I ordered a bit more fabric; hopefully this time, it will work. Last fabric I ordered just wasn't right.

The irony: I have almost enough fabric to do ANOTHER one, slightly different. I have a feeling I'll be making a few more of these; it's such a fun pattern. And like I said in the opening: the cutting and piecing a EASY. The most difficult part (for me so far) is finding the right fabric.

I have a feeling it would not be as difficult if I weren't being so darn picky about the overall image I'm trying to convey.

Be sure to google this quilt pattern; go to http://images.google.com and enter (with quotation marks):

"blooming nine patch"

The results are stunning.

It's so calming. I can feel the air starting to warm from a long cold winter. Can't wait to see it completed.
