Default Blue 4 patch for my friend who is having chemo treatments

A friend from highschool have breast cancer and she is going throught chemo treatments. I offered to make a quilt for her and she asked for a "rustic" looking quilt in shade of blue, cream and grey. I'm more a modern quilter so asked members of this wonderful board for suggestions. I was looking for a quick and scrappy pattern and got a lot of great ideas. I finally settle for a 4 patch. My friend love it, and I'm so happy to send her warm and love (since she lives too far from me).

Aaah, that looks warm and cozy and altogether comforting. Your friend will treasure it and feel your love every time she sees it or uses it.

Many times 4P such as yours look more like checkerboards. Your selection of various shades of lights and darks prevents this from happening. Great job!

How pretty. She can even take it with her for chemo. We always get cold and need a blanket. She will be wrapped in your love. Good luck to her.

I think I remember the thread asking for rustic ideas. I think you did good and I'm sure your friend appreciates it.

Lovely project for a lovely reason.
