    Looking for tropical fist to applique. Do you know where you found that material?

    It was a jelly roll that I added to and took some out with 2 1/2 squares in between - because I added more to it I think it made the white squares more irregular but like how it came out.

    Actually I found it online I believe at Fabric.com it is called
    "Timeless Treasures Nautical Ocean Floor Turquoise"

    It is just a strip quilt made with a jelly roll that I added to (and took out some). I added the white squares at the end of each strip before sewing strips together. I think the white really added nicely (it is actually a cream batik).

    I like this much better than most strip quilts; the additions of the contrasting squares really sets it off.

    Beautiful quilt! The white squares just add another demension. It appears that his Grandma also likes blue - the blue sofe, etc.
