All other hand quilting should be judged against yours. Your work is perfect. The fact that you designed your own whole cloth makes it even better. Violet

That is just stunning!!! I definitely want to learn to hand quilt... I'm going to the Oklahoma City Winter Quilt Show in a few days (It is Jan. 13-15) and I'm going to look for a quilting hoop. I've already taken a class, but now: practice, practice, practice. You've inspired me...

Your quilt is amazing. I've always wanted to do a wholecloth, but I am doing a small 16 inch preprinted square. I don't know the first thing about designing my own. I am almost done with my little one, will post a picture.

FANTASTIC!! What a beautiful quilt!! Your stitches are so tiny and uniform. What size needle did you use? Was it a between? What kind of batting allows for such tiny stitches? I have a long way to go before my stitching will look half a good.

Samara - Yes, please post a picture. I am interested in doing a wholecloth also and want to start on something small. Where did you purchase your cloth? Violet

Violet, the site that I ordered the mini wholecloth is http://www.beehappyquilting.com/. I have about a 5 by 3 inch section to finish, I was looking at it the other day wondering why I wasn't done yet with so little to go.

Thank you. I will check it out. Sounds like something I need to begin with before starting a bigger project. Violet
