Default Blue and Green 9 patch

When I moved my sewing room to the sunporch several things were found that I'd forgotten about, including a dozen 9 patch blocks. The tiny floral dezign in the blocks are green with a bright blue center and I had just enough blue to put together a small baby quilt or play mat. I also found a piece for backing in my stash that had bue, green, and bumble bees on it. Worked everything up and quilted it in a cross hatch design. Nothing special really, but it's been given to Project Linus and it's one more UFO out of the house.

Don't you just love when you rearrange things or clean things up, then you find soemthing you'd totally forgotten about. It's like a present to you that you didn't expect.

I have a friend, who is widowed, who wraps up her unfinished projects and opens them at Christmastime. It seems to give her renewed energy for finishing them.
Love your quick finish and donation. It's always a great feeling to clean house and finally finish those "forgotten" gems.

I would say your quilt is, Very Special. You were able to make a lovely quilt that will wrap a child in the love you put into it.

Love the coordination of color of front and back. Looks like it was intended that way. Very classic quilt.
