You did an outstandingly wonderful job with the wallhanging. They will treasure it. I want to immediately buy a kit for our home. We live on a lake in Minnesota with many blue herons too. Thank you for posting your amazing art.

I have the same kit and was breezing along until I hit the section in the directions where it said to stitch along the edges of the feathers and then proceed. I have fairly good piecing skills but sewing with a machine along the edge of the fusible parts is really not a skill set I am comfortable attempting. Please tell me you built the entire project and then quilted it? I would like my heron to look somewhat like your masterful version and if i am forced to do it...I might as well quit now!

P.S. This is my first fusible web project and any tip or techniques you can offer in the way of an aid...will be greatly appreciated.
